For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

The Bible is packed full of God's promises. The moment you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you gain access to His wonderful promises. No matter what you're facing, the Bible has a promise that can strengthen you, comfort you, and help you overcome adversity. Find the promise that applies to your situation and take it to God in prayer. Below are only a few of them:

Jesus said that in this troubled world, you can have His peace. (John 14:27)

If you are a chronic worrier and can't seem to stop, draw close to Christ and give your worries to Him. Jesus said not to be anxious about tomorrow, for each day has enough concerns of its own. Trust your life to Jesus and live life one day at a time. (Matthew 6:23-34)

God promises to help you in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1) If you're facing a crisis, know that you're not alone. God is with you and promises never to leave you. (Deuteronomy 31:8) Pray for His strength, and He will sustain you through hard times.

If you're sick--physically, spiritually, emotionally or mentally--the Bible is filled with God's promises for healing. Never underestimate the power of prayer, for there's healing power in the name of Jesus. (Luke 6:17-19)

God loves you and promises that nothing can separate you from His love. (Romans 8:38-39)

Father, thank You for Your wonderful promises and for Your faithfulness to fulfill them. In Jesus' name. Amen.
