Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.  (Psalm 22:4)

The Lord is our constant source of strength, power, and love. When we trust Him fully, the rewards are limitless, as is our inner peace. So many of God’s children are going through personal trials and tribulations, in fact, we’ll all, one time or another, face them.  But, it’s how we get through them that matters.

Trust is the formation of resolution.  That is to say, when we openly trust in the LORD and turn to Him making Him the focal point of the equation, we’ll surely jump over the hurdles of adversity with the agility of a gazelle.  We’ll be able to soar high above like Eagles.  We’ll feel the burdens lighten as He leads us through whatever it is we’re facing.  Trust in Him.

When you feel as if the sun has disappeared behind a myriad of black clouds, and wonder if it’ll ever shine again, trust in Him.  When you are at your wits end and think that things will never be the same again, trust in Him.  When you think that no one can fully comprehend what it is you’re feeling, trust in Him.

The LORD is our strength, rejoice in the LORD, find joy in the God of our salvation, for His promises endure forever. He will hold us up with the right hand of His righteousness, and He will make our feet like hinds’ feet, and make us walk upon high places. (Habakkuk 3:18-19)

Father; thank You for Your unmerited favor and grace, for Your endurance and patience, for guiding me, leading me, touching me,  and most of all, thank You for Your love, my trust I place in You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
