But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Are you single? Sadly, many singles feel lonely and unloved. Perhaps they have never wed; others are widowed or divorced. If feeling unloved, take heart. You are loved by God the Father and Christ the Son. If a part of the brethren (the church) you are beloved.

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? (James 2:5)

He loves us; in return, we love him. Oh, how much he loves us. No poet can adequately describe his love, his sacrifice or commitment. I cannot explain it or prove it; he confirmed it on Calvary. How do I demonstrate my love for the LORD?  The answer is profound. I am commanded to love him and my neighbor. (Matthew 22:36-40)

His love never fails; he’s forever faithful. I confess my weakness; my faith falters. The flame of love flickers; I need times of rededication and renewal. Does he reject me? No; he welcomes me home with outstretched arms. Enveloping me in those arms, he pledges his undying love. Once, he did die; he died to save me. Now, he lives forever more!

, how can     LORD, thank you? You love me. I receive that love. In Jesus name. Amen.
